Manufacturing note

Nascent fittings INC provides weld neck flanges in the following materials: stainless steel, alloy steel, carbon and LTCS, copper & nickel alloys, Super Duplex, Nickel, Monel, Inconel, Hastelloy, Aluminium, etc. Like lap joint flanges, weld neck flanges require butt welding for installation. However, their integrity, performance in systems with multiple repeat bends, and the ability to use them in high-pressure and high-temperature systems make them a leading choice for process piping. A weld neck flange, also called a tapered hub flange or high-hub flange, is a kind of flange that can relocate stress to the pipes, ensuring a decrease in high-stress concentration at the bottom of the flange. There are two welding neck flange designs – the first type is used with wipes while the second, longer type cannot be used with pipes but with a process plant. The weld neck flange comprises a round fitting that extends beyond the rim of the circumference. These flanges, typically manufactured from forging, are actually welded to pipes.
